Partners in Life was not conceived in a boardroom. It grew from decades of direct work at the intersection of public service, community development, and human dignity.
Our Story
Partners in Life is a developing holding company and family of human-development brands. It was founded on the conviction that the most effective responses to human struggle are those that treat people as whole persons — not as problems to be managed or cases to be closed.
The organization draws on the founder's decades of experience in public service, housing stability, homelessness response, and community transformation. It is built to address the full arc of human need — not just one dimension in isolation.
Partners in Life and its six developing divisions are currently being built. The infrastructure, partnerships, and programs that will define this organization are taking shape — grounded in the values and principles that have guided this work from the beginning.

The Founder
Robert "Bob" Newman
Founder, Partners in Life
Bob Newman is a senior administrative analyst, homelessness-response practitioner, author, and advocate for human-centered approaches to housing stability, personal development, accountability, and community transformation. With nearly two decades of experience in outreach, systems navigation, and public service, he brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to this work.
Having experienced homelessness himself, Bob approaches this work not as an outside observer but as someone who knows firsthand what it means to lose both a physical home and a sense of belonging — and what it takes to rebuild. That lived experience is the foundation beneath everything Partners in Life is being built to do.
Bob founded Partners in Life to bring together the lessons of that experience into a coordinated, values-driven approach to human development — one that takes both compassion and accountability seriously, and that treats every person as capable of growth.
I have seen what happens when people are met with dignity and given real tools to move forward. The transformation is not always fast. But it is real. And it is worth every bit of the work.

Drawing on nearly two decades of professional work in housing stability, outreach, and systems navigation — and on his own lived experience of homelessness — Bob brings both field-tested wisdom and personal understanding to this subject. The Two Homes offers a whole-person framework for practitioners, policy leaders, advocates, and anyone who believes every person deserves a real path forward.
